Weeping Willow | Open Edition Giclée Reproduction

Weeping Willow is a signed archival giclée reproduction of my original ink and watercolor painting.

This piece is about having a parent with mental health issues and chronic depression. The girl, naked and vulnerable, is taking shelter under the willow, which is about to engulf her in tears, but she looks up at the tree with compassion and concern. Whereas the tree stares out at the viewer, blind with sorrow. The multiple forms of water, clouds, lake, and tears reflect a flood of emotion that the girl must swim through if she wants to leave her isolated island.

Prints ship flat in a rigid cardboard mailer with acid-free backing board and a plastic sleeve. They have a white border for framing. The colors may vary slightly according to your monitor settings.
