Mother Earth | Open Edition Giclée Reproduction

Mother Earth is a signed archival giclée reproduction of my original ink and marker drawing.

While beatific representations of mother earth are common, this is a more somber environmentalist perspective. This mother earth is pensive. Her nudity reflects her vulnerability contrasted with the stony geologic layers intimating the gravity of the situation. The dark silhouette of the city on the right and the wildlife on the left represent the two sides of our current political landscape. The polluted waterfall represents resources diminishing, and the storm clouded sunset represents time running out to make changes.

Prints ship flat in a rigid cardboard mailer with acid-free backing board and a plastic sleeve. They have a white border for framing. The colors may vary slightly according to your monitor settings.
